Every day begins with a look at the weather, the mission plan, and the needs of the communities or clients to be reached. Then it’s out to the helicopter, built for precision flying in Nunavik’s remote terrain.
Once airborne, no two flights are the same: transporting workers, delivering supplies, supporting surveys, search and rescue missions or reaching isolated sites. Changing winds, low‑level flying, and rugged landscapes make every mission unique.
Working on rotation, pilots experience the North up close. And when the helicopter is shut down at day’s end, one thing is clear: their work helps support people, projects, and communities across Nunavik, one mission at a time.
